Plan to Remember

in Revision / Studying

When you start studying for a test or exam you need to plan to remember.  You need to make a decision to actively read and memorize the information.  If you don’t plan to remember then you will just be pretending to study and the study skills will be useless.

Plan to Remember Study Strategies

  1. Decide to study for a test
  2. Get all notes and materials ready
  3. Decide on a memorization technique
  4. Actively use the memorization technique
  5. Continue this process, using the same notes, over a number of days before the test.
