Guest Blogging Guidelines

A common, and positive, part of the blogging the community is Guest Blogging.  This means writing posts on other people’s blogs.  It is a fun way to gain exposure and write about a topic unrelated to your own blog.  You can even use it as a way to test the waters and see if blogging is for you.

Do you have any ideas on how to help students develop effective study skills?

Yes!  Why not share them with the world.  I would love to share your ideas on Study Skills Mentor.

Guest Blogger Guidelines:

  1. The content must be original, and not posted or printed in any other medium
  2. The content needs to be aimed at students, parents or teachers and related to study skills – home organization, homework, assignment, exam revision.  Other ideas could include how to use Web 2:0 technologies to stay organized
  3. The content needs to highlight an actionable strategy that a student could achieve very quickly.
  4. The post shouldn’t be more than 600 words.  Please spend some time trolling through the site and make sure that your idea hasn’t already been covered.

Email the following to admin@studyskillsmentor.com

  • The post or some ideas for a post
  • A short biography:  This is chance to promote your blog, school or your teaching experience, or an anecdote about school (if you are not a teacher).  Also include your name or a pseudonym

Then what?

I will let you know if I can use your post and give you a time frame of when it will be posted.
