Free Study Skills Video to use in the classroom
Today I used a great video in my class. It is from Learning Curve Education. The video goes for 7 minutes and is a great introduction to a study skills unit. I used it with a group of Year 8 students, and I didn’t hear any groans or complaints.

Study Skills Video – Teaching ideas
- With a partner, students discussed how they study at home
- Students watch video
- Students write a comment for each point, summarising the video
- Discuss with students if they could change any of their habits at home. Have students come up with a goal. For example, turn off the TV
