Welcome back.
How is the base camp? Hopefully you have a place to put all your school stuff and you are using it every day.
Today we are going to create a basic Study Planner. Dont worry. It won’t be completed today. Instead we will be setting up the basic structure.
What is the study planner?
A study planner is your ’study manual’. It is the one folder, the one place where all your notes will be kept. Over the next 25 days you will be adding details to the folder. This folder will help get you organized and stay organized. You will never again worry about where your criteria sheets are.
The study planner will store calendars, term planners, weekly planner, criteria sheets, assignment drafts and study notes. If you want to create effective study skills habits then you need to use a study folder.
Equipment
1. 2 or 4 ring folder / binder
2. Plastic page protectors
3. A4 paper
4. Scrap paper
5. Post it notes
Today’s tasks
1. Find the equipment. Don’t buy new stuff. Look around the house. I am sure you will find most of it
2. Decorate the study folder. I am serious about this. You will be looking at the folder everyday. Decorate the cover with pictures, grafitti, stickers. Go crazy. Have fun. (I would suggest doing this task after completing your homework though.
That’s it. Your done. I told you it would be easy.
This was Day 3 of the 30 Day Study System.
