You have just spent a couple of days understanding the assignment process. Hopefully you have also devised an assignment plan to follow.
Now we need to incorporate your Assignment Plan into the Daily Plan.
Daily Plan Recap
Remember that I want you to write a new daily plan every day. This will keep you organized and focussed.
Start Up: Six simple tasks to remind you to be more organized before you start studying. The organization tasks:
- Open Diary
- Study Folder open and on desk
- All books and equipment ready
- Mind Dump
- Scan the previous nights routine
- Print and fill in new Daily Plan
Daily Job: One task to do every day
- Sunday: Organize the week ahead
- Monday: Paperwork
- Tuesday: Computer Clean up
- Wednesday: Equipment check up
- Thursday: Get it Done Now
- Friday: Friday Fun Day
- Saturday: Weekly Clean
Assignments: Check your Assignment Plan for each assignment and decide what work you will do each day. Write that in the correct spot. Here is an example
| Planning | Researching | Writing | Checking |
| New English Assignment to plan | Spend 30 minutes finding notes on WW2 for History assignment | Write conclusion for science assignment | Edit economics assignment |
The example shows you how you can spend some time every night completing a few assignments. By dividing the assignments into sections they become easy to manage and complete.
Surely you would agree that this strategy is a whole lot easier than trying to do an assignment all in one night.
