Back to School: Tame the Paper Now

You have now been back to school for a week.  Today I want you to look at all the paper you have used and collected. 

School Paper Trail

Go find the following for me:

  • School Bag
  • School Binder
  • Diary

Go through each of the above items and take out every piece of loose paper.  Now find a home for each bit of paper:

  • Notes – give to parents
  • Rubbish – in the bin
  • Homework – put in binder
  • School notes – file properly in school binder
  • Assignment Tasks – put in Study Folder

I suggest you do this every day or every week.  If you file and organize your papers now then you will always be organised and prepared for school.

I want you to form a habit of taking the time to organize your papers.  If you do this regularly you won’t ever be in a panic about a lost note or missing assignment.

If you follow this back to school routine then you won’t use the lame exuses like:
