Happy New Years everyone!!

Today I would like you to take some time and think about your school goals for the next year. Grab a piece of paper and write them down.

Quick!

Study Goals should be specific

Take a look at your goals. Were they specific? I will give you an example:
I will get an A in English this year.
Sure, that goal is specific.

Study Goals should be achievable

But your A in English is only achievable if you have the time, dedication and ability to complete the goal. It isn’t really an achievable goal if you got a D on your report card.

Study Goals need to be actionable

You need to look at the goal are really be able to see what you need to do. The goal “I will get an A in English” is really a want, not a doable goal.
